Principles and Philosophy of Healing
Colleen's practice includes acupuncture, herbs and other holistic methods to help the body heal itself. With a focus on preventative care and wellness, she engages in a collaborative relationship with her clients.
Providing education and sharing knowledge with her clients is fundamental to Colleen's practice. She allows time to learn the nature of each client's unique health issues in order to prevent and treat pain, understand the causes of stress and illness, and provide individualized complementary treatment.
Colleen is a specialist in women's health who passionately believes that all people should have access to complementary medical care regardless of income. As such, she is an advocate for women with cancer and volunteers at the Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic (CMCC) in Oakland, an organization providing free alternative medical treatment to low-income women with cancer.
